Reverend Bill Mayoros, B.A. M.Div.
Ministry Goals

My purpose is transformation… to help people to grow personally through the power
of the Enneagram…to help people grow spiritually by exposing them to the best of
modern biblical and theological scholarship and by the introduction of spiritual practices
such as guided meditation and retreats. My ministry is holistic in approach as I also
believe in offering programs for the body such as yoga and walking/running programs.
I want the church community to be a place where all feel valued and welcomed.

Lori Minler, Children, Youth and Family Ministries

My ministry centers on developing and strengthening relationships with peers, adults, families and with all creation. We accomplish this through being together! I believe that in learning, celebrating, wondering and questioning together, we grow both individually and as a community.

Children
Nursery (Birth to 2 years)

Our Nursery is a bright, friendly room filled with age-appropriate toys and furnishings. It is supervised during Sunday morning worship by caring and responsible teens and adults.

Sunday School (3-13 years)

Our goal is to meet the various learning styles of all our children, keeping them engaged in activity while learning Bible stories and developing positive relationships within the group.

FW Friends (Grades 1-4)

An interactive, engaging, Bible story-based program that includes games, snack, drama, crafts and journaling. We meet every Tuesday, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

Junior Choir (JK-Grade 8)

Our Junior choir rehearses every Tuesday from 5:30 - 6:00 p.m., September through May, with Ian Masson.  This children's choir performs on special occasions and are an integral part of Trinity's Christmas and Easter musicals.

Youth Ministries
Planet 56 (Grades 5-7)

A program that offers a balance of learning, relationship-building and fun. We meet every Tuesday, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

Youth Group (Grades 8-12)

Challenging youth to learn, develop a faith-filled response to living and engage in Christian service in the community and beyond. We meet regularly on the first and third Sunday of every month, as well as meeting various other times for special events.

Adult Ministries

Book Study: Twice a year we gather on a Thursday evening to discuss current and topical books written from the perspective of the Progressive Christianity movement.

Guided Meditation: Is a time for deep inner reflection as well as a time to slow
down and honour our bodies. This is also held on Thursday evenings, interspersed
with our book studies.

Spiritual Retreat Weekend: This is currently a once-a year event, held at Five Oaks in the spring. It is a chance to refresh body, mind and spirit over an extended period of time.

Enneagram: This is the most intense experience we offer. It challenges participants to let go of the “false self” and become the person God created them to be. The Enneagram is offered once or twice as year, as the numbers warrant.
